Journal Entry # 5

 Yes, it is an informative report because it gave information based on real facts or experiences from real people. It covers information related to the addiction of young people, especially those under really heavy pain killers. I don't think it has an effective layout and presentation because it doesn't follow a script, or actors, these people experienced all in real life. Some events that affected me the most were how a family found out what their loved ones were going through, and also, statistics of about 1.4 million people are addicted to pain killers in the US.

  The article is about a woman coming out of prison after a long sentence. Even though her experience inside the prison, she came to become a Ph.D. from NYU. A good question will be how is the justice system is working to rehabilitate people or helping them to adapt to society. A good take away from the article will be her determination to succeed in life, she didn't quit right after she gets rejected at Harvard, she kept fighting to graduated from NYU.

From: 8831 20 th Ave (TENANTS) Date: September 10, 2020 Subject: Missing Packages   Outrage is the word to describe what we are feeling right now as tenants from Shore Haven Apts DEL LLC, on building 8831 20 th Ave. A great amount of delivered packages had gone missing in the last couple months. What it is interesting is the fact that we received notifications when our packages were dropped in the lobby.   At the beginning we the tenants were promised to be safe and feel secured within Shore Haven buildings and surroundings. Thankfully, we are safe and secured. However, we can’t say the same thing when talking about our properties delivered by third parties. Journal Entry # 6

  Technology is everything around us, it helps us do our task easier. Also, to me is artificial intelligence. I think technology inhibits learning because during this time students tend to use technology to accomplish homework, to resolve math-related problems without putting your brain to work, before technology most was done by just using your own mind.  Examples from the text are, "Mr. Campbell goes to sleep with a laptop or phone on his chest. For me, this issue is no good for health, some studies suggest electronic devices can cause illness if not place at a safe distance when sleeping.
